WHAT IS THE “SEND A LITTLE TO CAMP” PROGRAM?

The Send A Little To Camp (“SALTC”) program was established by the organizers as a means of providing financial assistance to individuals who are looking to attend TOMKAT, but may be experiencing financial difficulties or other hardships, which may put a strain on their ability to attend. As we wish to try and be as accommodating and accessible to attendees as possible, the SALTC program is funded from a portion of camp proceeds, activities at camp, and donations from attendees and sponsors. Individuals can apply into this program for each camp event; if accepted, financial relief can be provided to the applicant.

HOW “SEND A LITTLE TO CAMP” WORKS:

  1. Complete the forms located above using the buttons. If you have questions or concerns around the questions or information required, please reach out directly to the leadership team at leadership@tomkatcamp.ca.

  2. The Board of Directors will review all application submissions and notify each applicant as to whether they were accepted under the program or not (if accepted, the Board of Directors will also communicate the amount of financial relief provided to the applicant).

  3. For accepted SALTC applicants, a custom “DISCOUNT CODE” will be provided to the individual, which can be used on the registrations page to reduce the amount of camping fees (for example, if a person applies and is accepted for $150 of financial relief, a one-time unique discount code would be provided to that individual that would reduce their fees by $150). *DISCOUNT CODES ARE UNIQUELY ASSIGNED TO EACH PERSON AND ARE ONE-TIME USE*
